Alexandra is a senior litigator whose practice focuses on estate, trusts and capacity litigation, professional negligence and mental health law. She has acted in will challenges, will interpretation applications, power of attorney disputes, dependant support claims and guardianship applications. She has also been counsel in a number of Consent and Capacity Board appeals before the Courts on matters relating to treatment issues under the Health Care Consent Act, 1996 and the Mental Health Act.
Alexandra is regularly asked to speak about various estate, trusts and capacity issues at programs for the Ontario Bar Association and the Law Society of Ontario. She is also preferred counsel to the Lawyers’ Professional Indemnity Company and on the panel list of outside counsel for the Ontario Public Guardian and Trustee.
Freedom of Information and Privacy
Alexandra also advises clients in the public, private and broader public sectors on access to information and privacy issues under both provincial and federal legislation, including Ontario’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004 and the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. She regularly advocates on behalf of her clients before the privacy regulators, including the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario, and has appeared before the Courts when matters are judicially reviewed.

Alexandra received an Honours Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts from the University of Toronto in 1996 and 1998, respectively, and received her L.L.B. from the University of Alberta in 2001. She was called to the bar in Ontario in 2002.
Alexandra joined Rosen Sack LLP in September 2020. Prior to that time, her professional experience has been diverse from working at a national Bay Street firm, to managing her own law firm for a number of years.
Alexandra is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Advocates’ Society.
