Christina Canestraro

Christina’s practice in estate litigation encompasses a broad range of legal issues related to estates, trusts, capacity, and substitute decision making. Christina also practices professional negligence defence matters and is designated as Preferred Counsel by the Lawyers’ Professional Indemnity Company.

Prior to joining Rosen Sack LLP, Christina gained invaluable experience in estates law at one of Toronto’s top estate litigation law firms. Prior to being called to the bar, Christina articled at a boutique law firm in Toronto practicing a broad range of civil litigation matters.

Passionate About People

Christina graduated cum laude from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law in 2017. She was recognized for her contributions to the Faculty of Law and legal community as the recipient of the J.W. Whiteside Award. Prior to law school, she obtained a Hons. B.Sc. from York University in Psychology. Christina relies on her background in Psychology to understand complex legal issues and interpersonal relationships.

Christina believes in creating solutions. Driven by her keen interest in dispute resolution, she obtained a Certificate in Conflict Management and Mediation from the University of Waterloo.

Christina is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Ontario Bar Association. She is also an elected member of the Ontario Bar Association’s Elder Law Committee.
